 SLA’s Babywatch™ program provides interpreting services for expectant mothers and parents for prenatal classes, childbirth education classes and labor and delivery. A designated team of interpreters is ready to go round-the-clock, so no matter when that "special moment" arrives an interpreter will be available.
Joining SLA’s BabyWatch™ program is easy!
- SLA will call the hospital and register you in our BabyWatch™ program.
- You will choose a team of three interpreters (one primary and two back-ups).
- You will be given your interpreting team’s pager numbers.
- When you are ready to go to the hospital, page your primary interpreter and they will meet you at the hospital!
SLA BabyWatch™ Participants receive:
- Quality, professional interpreting services throughout the pregnancy and delivery.
- A special gift after your baby is born.
- An invitation to SLA’s biannual BabyWatch™ picnic.
