Requesting an interpreter is easy!
SLA Account Representatives work in teams to coordinate the needs of our clientele. Your Account Rep will keep you updated on the status of the request, the number of interpreters needed for the request, and will contact you with the name of your assigned interpreter as soon as it is filled. You will need to provide SLA with the following information:
- A Complete Client Application if you are new to SLA. Please download and return form via fax (877-752-1006). Attention: New Accounts.
- A Complete Request Form. Please contact the SLA office 1-800-752-0071 v/tty to be put in touch with an Account Rep today.
Please keep in mind that advance notice is always appreciated and will help us provide you with the most cost effective services. However, we realize advance notice is not always possible.
- SLA's "Red Alert" system holds the schedules of several interpreters on a daily basis for your last minute needs.
- SLA interpreters respond to Medical emergencies round the clock.
- SLA provides instant access with our Video Interpreting Program.
We monitor the needs of our clients and consumers closely, and have established specialized programs in direct response to those needs.
