Lorraine Costello & Jaime CoronadoCongratulations on wanting to learn more about sign language, the interpreting profession and the Deaf community! Like you, we think it is a fascinating field of study. Here is a resource list to get you started on your search for more information.

SLA does not teach sign language. For information on how to learn sign language, please visit the web page of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). They have a listing of Interpreter Training Programs located throughout the country. They should be able to help you with information on Sign Language instruction & interpreting education.
